Stefano Righi is Senior Vice President of the Global Security Software Group at AMI. He has over 35 years of experience in R&D management with a special focus on firmware and software technologies and architectures. His 20+ year tenure at AMI has covered UEFI architecture, Firmware Development Environments, GUI and Pre-Boot solutions, while acting as founder and current leader of security operations at AMI. He also represents AMI on the Board of Directors for the UEFI Forum, which champions firmware innovation through industry collaboration and the advocacy of a standardized interface to simplify and secure platform initialization and firmware bootstrap operations. Mr. Righi holds a degree in electronics engineering from the University of Bologna in Italy.
