Interesting Talk & Speakers announcement
The first version of hardwear.io – Hardware Security Conference and Training is very near and we are excited about it. The reason we gave birth to this conference is because we wanted hackers, researchers, pentesters, professionals, university students and everyone else around the globe interested in Hardware Security to come under a single roof to share and discuss things around one of the overlooked aspect of security – Hardware Security.
The event will take place in The Hague, Netherlands this 1-2 Oct 2015 with talks and trainings on backdoors, exploits, trust, assurance and attacks on hardware equipment, firmware and related protocols. The list of speakers along with the talks and trainings have been updated on our website.
We are excited to have Jon Callas – Co-Founder/CTO of Silent Circle and Blackphone to join us as our Keynote speaker of the conference. Some other interesting research to be presented in the conference include Security of Medical Devices by Florian Grunow, Advanced Attack Methodologies against Security Microcontrollers by Marcus Janke & Dr. Peter Laackmann, A New Attack Surface With Barcode Scanners by Nitay Artenstein, Hacking Satellite TV receivers : Are those IoT devices secure ? by Sofiane Talmat to name a few. Complete list of speakers is available on http://hardwear.io/speakers.
Hardwear.io – Hardware Security Conference and Training includes some interesting trainings such as Low Level Hardware reversing, IC Security 101 and Applied Physical Attacks on x86 Systems. The list of trainings have also been published on our website.
